best free mastering plugins for wave forms

There are a lot of synth tricks that are useful but take multiple parts and steps to setup which in modularland in particular eats up $$$ ressources. Here I need to explain a bit of the backstory behind Mutable's Braids/Plaits, if I remember it correctly anyway: started as shortcuts. What's special about the Freaks is the wide range available, you wont find speech synthesis that often for example, and the degree of sophistication. Having oscillators that cover multiple synthesis types is fairly common going as far back as the 90s. I'm hoping this thread can shine some light on this unique synth architecture of the MiniFreak. This is what seems to set it apart from any other synth ever made. There are various 'virtual analog' type oscillator engines along with a bunch of other different types of oscillator generator engines. The MiniFreak is quite a bit different than this from what I can tell, with the digital generated oscillators being generated by various different sound 'engines'. Sounds like a fancy version of regular DCOs. So like other hybrids it does use wavetables, and the standard oscillators are 'Numerically-Controlled Oscillators'. According to Novation, the Peak uses 'high-quality NCOs (Numerically-Controlled Oscillators), but gain the flexibility of the digital domain with 60 digital wavetables'.

Not up to speed on the MiniFreak, so comparison may not apply one to one.Yes I was also thinking about the Peak, so I checked it out before starting this thread. Novation Peak? Was just looking at it (various reasons), and it has the digital front end/analog back end, plus multiple analog distortion.
